Research On Letters And Visits Involving Military Forces

In recent years,with the continuous deepening of reform and opening-up,and the profound adjustment of social interest relations,various social hot issues have been reported to the government through letters and visits.Among them,the military-related group is the most special interest group,and the contradictions are prominent.Problems such as irrational comparison of treatment among various military-related groups,narrow policy coverage,inadequate resettlement,and inadequate service system frequently arise.In addition,the group’s desire for a better life,they began to send letters and visits local governments,in order to exert pressure.They became increasingly organized with collective visits,escalated visits,and even unreasonable letter visits.Properly handling letters and visits involving the military forces is an important parameter for considering the governance level of party committees and governments at all levels at present and in the future.This article is based on the personalized sample data of W County in Southern Jiangsu.100 petitioners were randomly selected,and interviewed to analyze their motivations,core demands,and psychological activities,which adds argumentation to the article.The author uses a combination of literature research,interviews,and case studies.Guided by the theory of governance and the theory of fairness and justice,the predicaments and causes of petitions involving the military are analyzed,and finally propose countermeasures to optimize the governance of letters and visits involving military forces in China in three dimensions:Source Governance,Classified Governance,Multi-divisional Governance.The author hopes that his research will inspire the optimization for the governance of letters and visits involving military forces,promote the orderly and healthy development of letters and visits involving military forces,and contribute to the governance of socialist countries with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
