In recent years, with the development of globalization and increase of international migrants' mobility, the topic of dual nationality has been put on the agenda at home and abroad.Throughout history, the attitude towards dual citizenship changes all the time.In the beginning of it,the government around the world did not pay much attention on dual citizenship, and then almost all countries held a negative attitude of dual citizenship due to the rise of the notion of modern nation-state and the frequency of wars in 18th to 20th centuries. As times goes by,the post-WWII world have changed a lot, globalization has accelerated and wars have decreased. Some countries have gradually relaxes their policy of dual citizenship, while others maintain the policy of single citizenship still. The power behind the change is not dual citizenship itself, but the joint effect of the whole world economy, politics, culture, ideas, and the different situations of immigration forces of different countries.Time changes,so should we.While working on this project,I noticed that there are differences between the immigrant receiving country and the immigrant sending country.Between those countries, there are competitions.Due to those competitions, various citizenship policies have been produced. The emergence of the concept of world citizen under the influence of globalization also provides new ideas for dual citizenships.Under the influence of many factors,China has begun to pay attention to this issue. Is it suitable for China to implement dual citizenship?I will discuss it in detail in this paper.
