Female employment is a basic form of women to participating in social development;it is also a measure of a nation’s civilization degree of scale.Therefore,the employment rights for women are a Symbol of human civilization progress.At present,the female’s employment rate in our country is one of the highest in the world,which is of great significance for the realization of gender fair employment in our country.However,there are still significant differences between different genders.It can be seen that the employment of rural labor force has become a trend,while women’s employment is an advantageous way to improve their economic status and family status.As the economy is relatively backward area,Gansu province has made many efforts in boroke the barriers the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,but there still have problems.Between urban and rural population and the rational flow of factors of the phenomenon of channel is not smooth.As a multi-ethnic populated province,agriculture is the main industry.Its industrial foundation is weak,and has less non-agricultural employment opportunity.In national regions,its economic development is more backward,coupled with the restriction of the traditional thought and the reality conditions;women’s employment is very limited.In terms of national minority areas from the natural geographical conditions and social economic conditions,are in a weak state,at this point,all nationalities in national economic development and national economic development in Gansu province have consistency,therefore,the study of Gansu province still has reference significance for other ethnic areas.In Gansu province,based on the questionnaire survey of rural women and family utility maximization as theoretical basis,using Logistic model,in rural areas the Han and minority choose the econometric analysis of employment.The results show that the main form of employment for rural women is still farming.In the same context of regional economic development,the non-agrieultural employmentrate of female minority women is significantly lower than that of Han female.Regional selectivity is the most significant factor in the non-agricultural employment selection process of female of different nations,and minority women are more inclined to self-employment in non-agricultural employment choice.The number of children is an important obstacle to the non-agricultural employment of minority women.Based on the above conclusions,the following recommendations are made:emphasis on rural education,especially in ethnic areas.Strengthen the training of rural women.Family planning policies should continue to be implemented in ethnic minority areas.Promote regional economic development and enhance the ability to absorb local labor.
