Research On Impact Of Prison Culture On Local Communities

With the rapid development of urbanization,the balance of economic growth and community life has become a contradiction in the matter of space and gradually concede to focus more on the economic integrated construction of the community.This modernized community development broke the original urban structure,while damaging the development of the non-material generating from the original local residents.The modernization also unified the measurement of individuals on living environment,and changed the traditional lifestyle of individuals and groups.In this article,surrounding communities of Tilanqiao Prison Shanghai is taking as an example,giving the concept of prison culture.Prison culture is no longer just for the impact within the prison,but a metaphor for social spiritual.Tilanqiao Prison located within communities and is still being used.Will evaluate its impact with concentration on its historical and social value,and the psychological impact generating towards residents in nearby communities.Will also conduct site investigation and analysis on the living environment of old and new communities nearby,extracting concept of “prison culture” from the different impact generating from Tilanqiao Prison.Will finally redefine the traditional community living environment that is capsulated by urban real estate.Need to reflect on the traditional lifestyle and community environment of “prison culture” under the process of future urbanization;explore the principle of individuals and groups lifestyle beyond the standardized real estate;focus on the transforming relationship between individuals / groups and spiritual space;provide more thought-provoking approaches towards future lifestyle and renewed modern community.
