A Study Of Xi Jinping’s View On Youth Education

Youth means hope,represents the future,and is an important force to promote social progress and national prosperity.In order to win the future,we must win the youth,and to win the youth,we must educate and train the youth.Xi Jinping’s view of youth education is a view of youth education formed on the basis of advancing the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,striving to realize the goal of "two hundred years" and the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and combining the characteristics of youth growth and the needs of reality.Guiding youth education with Xi Jinping’s view on youth education will help to build the ideological foundation for the common struggle of young people and cultivate qualified builders and successors of socialist cause in the new era.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature review,comparative study and systematic analysis to analyze and discuss the forming conditions,contents and practical significance of Xi Jinping’s youth education concept.Xi Jinping’s view on youth education is developed in an important period of our country’s development in the new era,based on the characteristics of youth growth and the needs of reality.It is the inheritance and development of our traditional culture,Marxist classical writers and the collective youth education thought of the Chinese Communist Party in successive dynasties.It is also a response to the new changes at home and abroad.By sorting out the contents of Xi Jinping’s youth education concept,this paper explores that it aims at cultivating young people with ideals and beliefs,strong skills,mission-bearing,courage to innovate and create,and arduous struggle.It also aims at the basic principles of Marxism,the common ideal education of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the education of socialist core values.The educational content should be directional,permeable and the unity of knowledge and practice as the educational principle,and give full play to the role of Party committees at all levels,the Communist Youth League,schools,families and youth themselves in education.Xi Jinping’s view of youth education originates from youth’s real life and the practice of applying youth education.It has important practical significance.It not only provides practical guidance for youth education,but also points out the direction for youth’s growth and development.
