Research On Writing Specification Of MPA Dissertation

Since the reform and opening up,the practice of government reforming in China has imposed professional,scientific,and standardized requirements on civil servants.Therefore,China established MPA degree in 1999 to cultivate high-standard,All-round talent for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.MPA dissertation writing,as an important part of China's MPA master's degree education,can reflect and test the theoretical foundation and practical ability of the students.The improvement of the MPA dissertation writing specification indirectly clarified the training requirements of the MPA,and clarified the responsibilities of the mentors,and clearly defined basic skills that civil servants need in the work field.At present,academic circles and institutions have not reached an agreement on the basic norms of MPA dissertation writing.This is not conducive to the establishment of specific norms that conform to the school or regional characteristics on the basis of these institutions,nor is it conducive to the unified consideration of MPA academic background by the public sector..This article is based on the status of MPA dissertation specification in academic circles and universities,and summarizes some problems.Taking MPA dissertation writing specification as the research entity,the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are combined to analyze the characteristics of the MPA dissertation topic and the characteristics of the main part.In order to solve the problems in the MPA dissertation writing,the lack of logical and normative issues in generalization and thesis,the lack of unified thesis evaluation criteria and quantification of the normative indicators,this paper builds a two-level index system of MPA dissertation writing standards based on the data obtained from the research.The construction of this writing specification index aims to provide a reference for the master degree writing,standardize the writing of dissertations for MPA students,and provide reasonable MPA dissertation standards and evaluation criteria for universities and colleges,thereby improving MPA student training requirements.The evaluation indicators can ultimately improve MPA students' theoretical literacy and practical ability,and apply related knowledge of public management to government agencies and public sector.By applying the writing norms flexibly and systematically to MPA tutors,MPA institutions,and government and other public sectors,not only can the tutor's teaching management level be further improved,but also the management of tutors can be strengthened;and the setting of MPA courses and the MPA students' ability can be improved.The assessment mechanism is to improve their ability to handle public affairs and solve comprehensive problems;thus effectively to improve the selection and promotion of public servants with background of MPA education,and to promote the long-term cooperation between the public sector and universities.
