What is socialism and how to build socialism is a major theoretical and practical issue that communists of all countries urgently need to answer after the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat.It has puzzled generations of communists in various countries.Before the reform and opening-up policy,the Chinese Communists did not really understand this issue in the exploration of the way of socialist construction.The key to effectively understand this issue lies in answering the essence of socialism and its fundamental tasks scientifically.Since the reform and opening-up policy,the Chinese Communists,represented by Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao,and Xi Jinping,have adhered to the basic principles of scientific socialism and established them well in the process of re-recognizing and rethinking socialism.In fact,in combination with the characteristics of the times,China has spoken out new words that the ancestors did not say,constantly deepening the
