Research On The Traditional Family Moral Education In The Construction Of Citizen Morality In The New Era

Moral education has always been the focus of family education in China since ancient times.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress pointed out that“the construction of civic morality should be carried out in depth to promote the construction of social morality,professional morality,family virtue and personal morality”.Family moral education plays an important role in the construction of civic morality in the new era.To strengthen the construction of civic morality in the new era,we must play a unique role of family.The construction of civic morality in the new era has certain historical similarities with the traditional family moral education.By eliminating the false and retaining the true,we can provide historical reference for the construction of civic morality in the new era.In terms of the content of moral education,traditional family moral education advocates moral education for family members,especially children,from five aspects: self,home,person,thing and country.At the same time,it adheres to the moral education methods of environmental edification,model demonstration,Tzu Wei's joint efforts and hands-on practice.Of course,due to the limitations of historical conditions,the traditional family moral education thought inevitably has historical limitations.In order to fully tap the value of traditional family moral education in thenew era,we must comprehensively analyze the problems faced by family moral education in China.In the historical development stage of the new era,family moral education in our country can not fully meet the requirements of the new era in terms of educational concepts,contents and methods.Therefore,we must take a dialectical view of the traditional family moral education thought,and combine the existing problems of family moral education in the new era,on the basis of inheriting the virtues of traditional family moral education,strengthen the epochality of the content of family moral construction of citizens in the new era,and improve the scientificity of family moral education methods.Through various ways,we can creatively transform and innovate the traditional family moral education,implement more effective family moral education,promote the development of family moral education and promote the construction of citizen morality in the new era.
