The Research On The Political Participation Of Urban Community Residents During The Transition Period

Citizen's political participation is not only an objective reflection of citizen's status and role in political life,but also an important way for citizens to realize their political rights in political life.Citizen's political participation can be carried out in many ways,including participating in and influencing the policy-making process,the operating rules of the political system,and the operating modes of the political system.Citizen's political participation not only implies certain trend of political value,but also embodies the essence of political relations.At present,China is in a transitional period,and the political participation of urban residents has also changed.Fair,healthy,rational and orderly political participation can help urban community residents fully realize their positive political participation intention and role,help to change the negative attitude of urban community residents' political participation in the past,help to smooth the channels of urban community democratic participation,and enhance the enthusiasm of urban residents' political participation.At present,the ways of Chinese urban residents' political participation are diversified.Direct participation,indirect participation,institutional participation,non-institutional participation,passive participation and active participation are woven together.In this paper,from the perspective of transition period,through empirical analysis,the current problem of urban residents' political participation in China is studied,the problems of urban community residents' politics and the causes of these problems under the background of transition period are explored,and the path selection of urban community residents' political participation under the background of transition period is put forward.Specifically,the full text is divided into the following contents: Firstly,the urban community is divided into the urban community.The related theories of district residents' participation are explained,mainly elaborating the development process of political participation,the role of government and the content and principles of urban community residents' participation;secondly,the present situation of urban community residents' participation in China is demonstrated;thirdly,the problems existing in the current urban community residents' participation in China and the causes of these problems are analyzed and summarized.The reasons for the problems of community residents' participation mainly include the following aspects: cultural level,political outlook,occupational differences,income level,institutional factors and the development factors of the community itself.Finally,this paper focuses on the measures to solve these problems,including raising the awareness of residents' participation,optimizing the structure and function of political participation,and improving the security mechanism and supply mechanism of community residents' political participation.It is hoped that these reform measures can improve the level of residents' participation in urban communities to a certain extent.Improving the participation of urban community residents in China is a gradual process,and we need to work together from both theoretical and practical aspects.Therefore,we must further strengthen theoretical research and constantly update theoretical knowledge to guide practice,so as to gradually mature and improve the political participation of urban community residents in China.
