The Study Of Paul Lafargue's Theory Of Socialism

As an important Marxist theorist in the Second International Period and the main leader of the French proletarian party,Paul Lafargue gradually formed his characteristic socialist theory in leading the French socialist movement.However,due to various reasons,the relevant researches at home and abroad are mainly concentrated on Lafargue's philosophical thoughts,especially his controversial historical materialism,and his research on socialist theory is rare and unsystematic.It not only greatly affects the in-depth discussion and comprehensive grasp of Lafargue's whole thought,but also is not conducive to a reasonable and comprehensive evaluation of Lafargue's position in the history of scientific socialism.In view of this,this paper will systematically sort out the main contents of Lafargue's socialist theory from the perspective of the background and theoretical origins of Lafargue's socialist theory,and focus on Lafargue's theoretical basis for defending and developing scientific socialism.A series of theoretical and practical activities were carried out to further evaluate the historical status and limitations of Lafargue's socialist theory and to highlight its contemporary values.This article will consist of the following four interrelated parts.The first part mainly examines the historical background and theoretical origin of Lafargue's socialist theory.In terms of historical background,since the 1970 s,capitalism has developed rapidly and gradually transitioned from the stage of free competition to the stage of monopoly.This has led to the intensification of various social contradictions,the rapid growth of the proletarian power,and the new development of the workers' movement.Marxism spread widely,and the Second International was established immediately.At the same time,various non-Marxistthoughts appeared one after another,which caused a fierce struggle in the ideological field.In terms of theoretical origin,Lafargue's socialist theory is mainly influenced by Marx and Engels' scientific socialist thoughts.The second part mainly focuses on the three closely related and inseparable aspects of Lafargue's "scientific cognition","realization path" and "revolutionary conditions and strategies" of socialism,and the main structure of Lafargue's socialist theory.Carry out a systematic review to present the full picture of Lafargue's socialist theory.The third part mainly explores a series of theoretical struggles in which Lafargue defends and develops scientific socialism.It mainly focuses on the three essential aspects of the philosophical foundation,economic foundation and basic principles of scientific socialism.Lafargue's series of articles on the nature of controversy deepen the understanding of Lafargue's socialist theory.The fourth part firstly comprehensively evaluates the position of Lafargue's socialist theory in the history of scientific socialism development,pointing out that in the process of defending scientific socialism,Lafargue not only enriched and developed scientific socialism,but also its thoughts on France and The Spanish socialist movement has had a profound impact.Secondly,it explains the important enlightenment significance of Lafargue's socialist theory to the socialist construction with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Finally,it analyzes the limitations of Lafargue's socialist theory in a realistic way.
