A Study On The Theory Of Socialist Diplomacy With Chinese Characteristics In Xi Jinping’s New Era

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of Chinese reform and opening up.When we look back the past achievements,we can see that Chinese comprehensive national strength,international status and voice have been significantly enhanced,and China has become a major contributor to the world economy.Faced with the new international situation and environment,China needs new diplomatic theories to guide its diplomatic work.Especially,after the 18~thh national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),the leadership collective of the CPC central committee with Xi jinping as its core made a series of important statements on Chinese diplomatic strategy after a profound analysis about the Chinese complex domestic and international situations which constituted the main content of the theory of socialist diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in Xi jinping’s new era and became a hot topic studied by domestic and foreign scholars.The paper was finished under the kind of background.This paper,taking Xi’s diplomatic theory for clue,regarding systematic study to the Xi’s diplomatic theory as the research direction and takig the 18~thh and 19~thh national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)as the specific social,time and space background for the coming of Xi’s diplomatic theory.From the political,economic,cultural,the world situation and the development of the previous diplomatic thoughts and some other dimensions,we can not only analyse the formation background,contents,characteristics,significance of Xi’s diplomatic theory,but also the diplomatic practice under the guidance of the Xi’s diplomatic theory.What’s more,this paper still explores the rational factors of the production of Xi’s diplomatic theory,focuses on the background,main contents and characteristics of Xi’s diplomatic theory and so on and discusses the practical significance of Xi’s diplomatic theory to safeguard Chinese core interests and promote the reform of the international political system from the practical path of the theory.This paper has launched a certain degree of pioneering research on Xi’s diplomatic theory.We can analyse characteristics of the Xi’s diplomatic theory from the macro international level to the medium national level and micro level which analyses the the reference to the traditional excellent culture of Xi’s diplomatic theory.Two new viewpoints are proposed in the analysis on the characteristics of Xi’s diplomatic theory.First,Xi’s diplomatic theory is an organic combination between the Chinese excellent traditional culture and contemporary Chinese marxism.Second,Xi’s diplomatic theory combines both hard and soft measures to open up a new situation for Chinese diplomacy.These two points are also the innovations and highlights in this paper.Due to the limited research level,there are some deficiencies in this paper,which the author will try to make up in the future research.
