The Comparative Study Of Deng Xiaoping And Xi Jinping’s International Strategic Thoughts

In the international arena,each country will formulate its own international strategy according to its own national interests and national goals to guide the country’s foreign policy.International strategy has different names in different countries,some countries call it foreign strategy,and in the United States,it has the name of "big strategy" and "global strategy".Although there are different naming habits,but their substantive connotation is the same.The international strategy in different periods has different characteristics.Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping,as leaders of two important historical periods in the history of new China,have distinct characteristics and different characteristics in their international strategic thoughts.A Comparative study of the International Studies of Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping Strategic thought can not only enrich the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics,help to build an international strategic system with Chinese characteristics,but also provide scientific theoretical guidance for China’s diplomatic practice and innovative development of foreign strategy in the new period.Through combing and summarizing the research of Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought at home and abroad,it is found that the academic research on Deng Xiaoping’s international strategic thought has formed a mature research system with integrity and systematicness.However,because Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought is a relatively new topic,the research on Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought is still in the stage of perfection and development,and no one has made a comparative study of Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought.Therefore,this research theme is naturally one of the characteristics and innovative points of this paper.Summarize the theoretical core of Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought.As the core of the second generation of China’s leading collective,Deng Xiaoping put forward the theme of the era of peace and development through a scientific grasp of the international situation at that time,and the historical mission of his time led him to formulate a strategic goal to make China rich.We have chosen the foreign policy of hide one’s capacities and bide one’s time,as well as the diplomaticprinciple of independence and non-alignment.Similarly,after 40 years of reform and opening up,we have achieved the strategic goal of getting rich,making China stronger and becoming Xi Jinping’s strategic goal.In order to achieve this strategic goal,Xi Jinping has proposed "one belt at a time." The "Road" initiative,the thought of a community with a shared future for mankind in the new era and the promotion of international strategic ideas such as the diplomacy of major socialist countries with Chinese characteristics,through these strategic ideas and means to achieve the goal of building a modern world power.Xi Jinping has innovated and developed Deng Xiaoping’s international strategic thought on the basis of persistence and inheritance.Xi Jinping inherits Deng Xiaoping’s scientific conclusion that peace and development is the theme of the world today,inherits China’s strategic thinking of continuing to follow the path of peaceful development,and inherits Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic principle of independence and non-alignment.At the same time,Xi Jinping has made innovations on the basis of inheritance: he has completed the transformation from "hide one’s capacities and bide one’s time" to making great efforts,from attaching importance to the domestic and foreign two overall situations,and from "getting rich" to "strengthening".A shift from being responsible to taking responsibility.By using the research framework of international strategic theory in international politics,this paper analyzes Xi Jinping’s theoretical and practical basis for the innovation of Deng Xiaoping’s international strategic thought.From Deng Xiaoping era to Xi Jinping era,first of all,the international strategic environment has changed:the international pattern has changed from a polar pattern to a super strong,from limited participation in the international system to active intervention in the construction of international mechanisms;National interests are also increasingly expanding overseas.Secondly,the internal influencing factors have changed: from the reform and opening up to the active participation in the process of economic globalization,the national hard power has been greatly improved;the spread of Chinese traditional culture is increasingly moving towards the world to make the national soft power.Significantly improved;strategic concepts have also become more active in contributing Chinese wisdom to world development,China’s plan.It isalso a novel perspective to introduce the theory of international politics and international relations and analyze the international strategic thought of the two generations of leaders.Through a comparative study of Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping’s international strategic thought,we can draw some realistic enlightenment: in the course of the development and innovation of international strategic thought,we should adhere to the Marxist position,viewpoint and method as the premise.The goal is to build an international strategic system with Chinese characteristics and to build a world of lasting peace,universal security and common prosperity,based on the principle of co-ordinating the overall situation at home and abroad and building an international strategic system with Chinese characteristics.
