| Volunteer service has developed rapidly and can be seen in many places.It has played a powerful role in promoting the development of individuals and society,and is also an indispensable part of the overall development of the country.The development and improvement of volunteer service has made the scale of voluntary organizations and the service performance significantly improved,and has become an endless force for injecting social development.Volunteers are important participants in volunteer service activities and service implementers.Focusing on improving volunteer service capabilities not only effectively reduces the cost of volunteer organizations,but also directly affects the quality of volunteer service activities.Based on these premise,this paper analyzes the status quo of volunteer service ability in Shijiazhuang City and analyzes the influencing factors of volunteer service ability,proposes relevant countermeasures,improves the overall level of volunteer team and improves the quality of volunteer service.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper summarizes the literatures related to the factors affecting volunteer service,volunteer ability and volunteer ability.Secondly,according to the related works of volunteer service and existing research results,the three core concepts of volunteer,volunteer service and volunteer service ability are defined.And the related theories are explained to provide the theoretical basis for the model establishment.Thirdly,according to the iceberg model in the competency model,the volunteer ability is designed from the five dimensions of skill knowledge,role orientation,self-cognition,quality and motivation.The horizontal quality model analyzes the current situation of volunteer service ability in Shijiazhuang City.Fourthly,it first understands the status of volunteers’ ability.Based on the capacity building theory,it sets 42 variables from three levels: individual ability,organizational ability and environmental ability.Establish the model of the influencing factors of volunteer service ability and put forward the research hypothesis.Fifthly,based on the questionnaire data of the factors affecting the volunteer service ability,first use the factor analysis to reduce the dimension,and then use the multiple regression analysis method to obtain the influential factors of volunteer service ability.Finally,summarize the problems existing in the volunteer service capacity of Shijiazhuang City and propose countermeasures.Based on the empirical analysis of the influencing factors of volunteer service ability,the conclusions drawn in this paper are as follows: First,by analyzing the existing problems,the volunteers’ awareness of service ability needs to be improved,and the volunteer service ability training mechanism is still not perfect.The management of many aspects is not perfect;the process management of voluntary organizations lacks effectiveness;the environmental capacity does not provide effective protection;the evaluation mechanism of volunteers is not perfect.Second,the main factors affecting volunteer service capabilities are: organizational management(training,strategic management,organizational culture,supporting measures),process management,social environment,and personal ability awareness.Based on the results of empirical analysis,we propose targeted recommendations: to build capacity awareness as a regenerative force,enhance individual capacity building;attach importance to organizational capacity building,strengthen voluntary organization management;recognize process management’s adjustment and prevention in volunteer service;Social atmosphere,promoting environmental capacity to play a role in safeguarding the evaluation mechanism of voluntary organizations. |
