The social security issue of veterans is a worldwide problem and a concern of all countries in the world. It is of great significance to the stability of society, the direction of public opinion and the stability of political power. In the late 20 th century, the US government faced a large number of veterans' social security issues. Thus, the US government has introduced a number of readjustment of benefits for veterans and social security policies for veterans, laying the foundation for the return of veterans to civilian life.During this period, the US government promulgated the "Veterans' Readjustment of Benefits Act of 1966" and the "Montgomery G.I.Bill" on the basis of the previous readjustment of benefits for veterans and social security policies for veterans. And carrying out a series of veterans social security policies, the US government solved the problem of returning veterans to civilian life. The US government enacted the Veterans' Readjustment of Benefits Act of 1966 and the Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 1984 for the late 20 th century veterans. It has developed and implemented a comprehensive social security policy for veterans covering employment, education, housing,as well as social security for disabled veterans, etc. In the 1970 s,the US economy fell into recession. In order to find new economic growth points, the US government provided good conditions for the US economy to get out of the predicament by providing social security for a special group of veterans. At the same time,a large number of veterans returned to civilians, increasing the employment pressure in the United States. In the face of employment problems, the US government strived to create more job opportunities and provide employment preferential policies for veterans. On the other hand,it provided education and training for veterans to ease employment pressure.A large number of veterans received various types of education and training, which not only eased employmentpressure, but also provided intellectual security and talent support for the development of US information and high technology in the 1970 s and 1980 s.In the late 20 th century, the US government issued a series of bills and social security policies for veterans to protect the benefits of veterans and help them adapt to life after returning to civilians. This not only effectively protected the benefits of veterans, but also eased the employment pressure of the society and maintains social stability. And the education and training in the social security policy contributed to the veterans' own quality and university development, and provided intellectual security and talent support for the economic development of the United States.
