Taking the long-term detained salvage objects in Shanghai salvage management station as an example, this study carries out case studies on their inadaptable behavior of resisting salvage assistance.Based on the practical framework of narrative therapy, this study deeply excavates the story and significance behind the resisting behavior of salvage objects, alleviates the contradiction and conflict between the self-narrative of salvage objects and the mainstream narrative of surrounding people, and effectively improves it.The willingness of the rescue object to seek help eventually leads the rescue object to participate actively in the rescue work of the rescue station. The study found that the group of vagrants and beggars has been discriminated against and excluded by the public for a long time. They also lack the right to speak in the social media. When they are in collective aphasia for a long time, they are prone to form hatred mentality and resistance to rescue. Therefore, social work services can help relief objects improve the status quo.Under the theoretical framework of narrative therapy, social workers can guide relief objects step by step out of the mainstream narrative repression, restore their self-confidence,and help relief objects rebuild positive self-narrative.In this regard,it is urgent to improve the relief management concept of relief stations. At the same time, social workers not only carry out case work at the micro level to improve the efficiency of relief, but also call on the mainstream culture of society to change the stereotype of vagrants and beggars from the macro level.
