Nowadays,severe regional conflicts remains a major challenge to the development of the world,and conflict eliminating is still one of the major objectives of international assistance.Although a large amount of international aid has been devoted to peace building and security governance,the input-output benefit seems not well.However,in recent years,emerging donor countries with fast-developing play an increasingly important role in the aid system,offering diversity aid projects which contrast with more traditionally Western forms of aid.As a typical emerging donor,China has increase its responsibilities and its power in the world,taking an active part in global governance,facilitating set up fair reasonable international new economic order and building a community of Shared future,in order to help friends and herself achieve mutual benefit.Neverthless,China's aid has been questioned by traditional western donors frequently since Chinese's aid size becomes lager.This paper tries to use frontier empirical methods to explore the relationship between China's aid and conflicts in recipient countries from a new perspective.And also provide new empirical evidence for the positive impact of China's aid on the world.Since Chinese government haven't published the data of China's foreign aid,this paper use 2000-2014 Chinese aid data from AidData proj ects and use conflict data from UCDP to do empirical analysis,robustness testing and discusses the mechanism how Chinese's aid do.Following Dreher et al(2017)and Nunn&Qian(2014)methods we concluded results that Chinese aid is more effective than the traditional western aid in alleviating regional conflicts.Chinese Other Official Flows can effectively reduce the probability of conflicts,shorten duration time and deaths caused by conflicts.The category of infrastructure,productive construction and welfare support is work to slowing conflicts and stabilize the situation of recipient countries.Although China is the largest developing country in the world,its fiscal capacity is weaker than that of developed countries.Therefore,China takes appropriate aid methods to help poor countries achieving national development based on its own development experience.Economic infrastructure construction is a featured project of China's assistance,such as factories,roads,railways,electric power system and communication equipment,which fills the space in this aspect of international assistance.Infrastructure assistance projects can also provide a large number of local employment opportunities for recipient countries,increase income,improving living standards and provide"hardware" foundation for sustainable economic development which will curb conflicts in poor countries..And finally,through Chinese's aid characteristics,this paper provides reference suggestions for traditional international donor countries to choose appropriate assistance way and help them improving effectiveness of aid.
