Abstract/Summary:
China and Japan belong to the same region of Northeast Asia. The Sino-Japanese relationship is one of the most important bilateral relations in China.Handling Sino-Japanese relations well is of great significance to the stability of the whole Northeast Asia region and world peace. The return of Abe to power in 2012 ushered in a new turning point in Sino-Japanese relations. When Abe came to power again,China and Japan faced many problems in politics, economy, security, history, culture and historical cognition.Japan’s goal of "normalizing the country" and"getting rid of the post-war system" for many years was particularly prominent when Abe came to power again.Abe’s policy toward China is also changing.Abe’s primary goal after taking office is to consolidate the U.S.-Japan alliance.Secondly,he constantly creates incidents and frictions around China to curb China’s rise, and the relationship between China and Japan is becoming more and more distant. The main responsibility for this situation lies in Japan’s policy of containment against China. This article mainly aims at the analysis of Abe’s policy toward China after his second administration, finds out all kinds of contradictions affecting the development of Sino-Japanese relations, and finally comes to the deep factors affecting the development of Sino-Japanese relations, and puts forward corresponding suggestions.Starting from the period between Abe’ s first and second administration, this paper briefly expounds the development direction of Japan’s Sino-Japanese relations during the period of "one phase a year".Among them,Shinzo Abe,Yasuo Fukuda,Taro Aso and Yukio Hatoyama are divided into friendly factions to China;Naoto Kan and Yoshihiko N oda are divided into tough factions to China.By analyzing the changes of Japan’s policy toward China during this period, the background before Abe’s second administration and the reality of Japan-Japan relations are obtained.Since Abe came to power for the second time,he has inherited and changed his security and foreign policy,as well as China’ s attitude and position towards Japan’ s policy change. At the same time,it clarifies the problems that China and Japan are facing and the contradictions that perplex the relations between China and Japan. The deep-seated contradictions between Japan and China mainly lie in the four aspects of politics, economy, security and historical cognition, among which the most important factors affecting the relationship between China and Japan are political factors;economy is the link to maintain the relationship between China and Japan;in security,Japan chose to strengthen the Japan—US alliance in order to face the rise of China;and in historical cognition, the right-leaning of the Japanese government aggravated the mistrust between the two countries.Sino-Japanese relations are one of the most important bilateral relations in China.Whether the future development of Sino-Japanese relations will continue at the present state or be further complicated or turn to a good one?At present, the prospects for the development of bilateral relations are bright after the resumption of mutual visits between the heads of state of China and Japan. But it is undeniable that the basic problems affecting Sino-Japanese relations still exist for a long time.
