From Heshan To Chile: The Study Of Immigrants In Heshan Since 1978

From the perspective of international migration,this paper systematically studies the history of new immigrants from Heshan to Chile after China's reform and opening up.Emphasis was on the historical background of Heshan rise new immigrants and era background,The immigration route for new immigrants,the employment model for new immigrants,the social adaptation of new immigrants and a new immigration problem such as the relationship with the overseas Chinese hometown.Heshan new immigrants with its overseas relations took the lead in the form of labor service export immigration Chile,basically they are engaged in the restaurant industry,after gaining a firm foothold,they will bring new relatives in hometown,form a loop.There are many Heshan people in Chile,who actively participate in local social affairs and advocate philanthropy.The first generation of new immigrants was influenced by the thought of‘ Fallen leaves return to the roots--to revert to one's origin',and some returned to their hometown to settle down,while others circulated between Chile and Heshan.With the continuous improvement of the economic and social level of heshan,the migration activity of Heshan to South America slowed down.
