Compulsory isolation and detoxification is a key component of the overall drug control work in China,which is directly related to the effectiveness of drug control work.After years of practice,the efforts of compulsory isolation and detoxification in China has made great progresses,and the ideas and methods of working have been greatly improved compared with the past.The most notable change is the more and more attention and implementation of humanism.The definition of drug addicts in our country is no longer a simple "criminal ",but a more appropriate description of “misfeasor,sick and victim",which accords with the affirmation and concern of the value of "human" in Marx's theory.Against this background,this paper researches the compulsory isolation and detoxification from the perspectives of Marx's humanism to promote the work performance.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,significance,research contents and methods,and so on.The second chapter briefly discusses the content of Marx's humanism,the concept of compulsory isolation detoxification,and emphasizes the necessity of applying Marx's humanism for Compulsory isolation and detoxification.The third chapter explains the intension of Marx's humanism in the work of compulsory isolation and detoxification from several aspects.The fourth chapter describes the problems that do not conform to the Marx's humanism in the current condition of compulsory isolation and detoxification,and analyzes the related reasons.The fifth chapter puts forward policy suggestions on the issues and reasons discussed in the fourth chapter.
