Research On American Space Resources Exploration And Utilization Law

Space mining may seem to be a distant,but it has slowly occurred in our lives.Scientists have learned that asteroids are loaded with precious metals and other resources.Now some companies and countries want to take these resources out of orbit and back to earth,but that raises the issue of property rights.In particular,who has the rights of resources which extracted from space.This paper will focus on the current legal situation and discuss the property rights of asteroid mining from the international and national perspectives.The introduction part introduces this thesis in different views such as the reasons,research,background and current situationThe first part is to study the development and utilization of outer space resource activities from the perspective of American law.Therefore,the first chapter mainly introduces the research of the us "outer space resource law",and introduces the basic introduction of this law in the United States,mainly including the introduction of legal content and legislative background.The second part is the law of outer space resources and some provisions of international treaties,give contrast,mainly between the outer space treaty and the moon agreement,the provisions of the possession of resources and related activities,the principle of the legislation in unilaterally announced that resources are available when the privatization is violated the international treaty,based on the fuzzy terms.The third part introduces the United Nations on the discussion of outer space resources,as well as some countries in the aspects of the position and international cooperation,some international organizations,the study of the law and some suggestions for future legal framework.The fourth part analyzes the significance and possible problems of the legislation through the foregoing analysis,and puts forward some suggestions on the related activities.
