The Study Of The Marine Cooperation Between China And ASEAN

The 21 st century is the century of the ocean.The ability to use and develop marine resources has become the second driving force for the growth of national strength.The awakening of marine rights and interests awareness is accompanied by increasingly fierce competition and plundering of marine resources on a global scale.Since the formal resumption of dialogue between China and ASEAN in 1991,the two sides have gradually adjusted their foreign diplomatic policies and regard each other as a friendly and mutually beneficial neighbor to carry out all-round cooperation in a gradual and orderly manner.In recent years,the two sides have been entangled around the rights and interests of the ocean.Therefore,under the favorable background of China and ASEAN's all-round cooperation,it is of great theoretical and practical value to seriously examine the cooperation between the two sides in the maritime field.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly interprets the current situation of China ASEAN maritime cooperation,and summarizes the characteristics of marine cooperation between China and ASEAN.The second part discusses the significance of the cooperation between China and ASEAN.The third part mainly analyzes cooperation areas,existing institutional arrangements.The fourth part discusses the major challenges faced by the China ASEAN in marine Cooperation.The fifth part,according to the problems existing in the cooperation between China and ASEAN,this paper puts forward a series of pertinent countermeasures and suggestions.
