Research On Psychological Guidance In Ideological And Political Work Of Public Security Workers

Psychological counseling put forward by the Communist Party during the new period is new requirements and ideas to the ideological and political work of the public security workers,which has pointed out the direction,strengthened the content and broadened the horizon in improving the ideological and political work of public security.Public security is a high risk,high confrontation,high stress and high load work.With the social security situation continues to complicate and the increasingly diverse needs of the people,policemen’s mental health problems become increasingly prominent,not only to their physical and mental health,but also to the effectiveness of the police and the development of public security cause.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out psychological counseling research in the ideological and political work of public security,which is to meet the requirements of the times and to solve the actual needs.Under the guide of Marxist theory,the author applies literature research,analysis and comparison,typical case analysis and other research methods,and learns from philosophy,psychology,education and other multi-disciplinary theory to promote the harmonious development of people.Based on the ideological and political work of public security and with the interpretation of the relevant concepts as the beginning,the author takes psychological counseling as an objective object,clarifies the necessary need for psychological counseling,and discusses psychological counseling methods,functions and principles.Finally as reference of the empirical data collected by questionnaires and field research,this paper puts forward the specific measures to be used.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is Introduction,which includes background,research significance,research methods,and summarizes the innovation and shortcomings of this study,and expounds the current research situation of police mental health work at home and abroad.Domestic research focused on the investigation of the status of the psychological problems of the policeman,while lack of mental health work system development countermeasures.The second part discusses the concept and the necessity of public security ideological and political work and psychological counseling.It summarizes the meaning of the ideological and political work in the new period,and defines psychological counseling from the perspective of ideological and political work.The third part discusses the main function and concrete method of psychological counseling,expounds its main functions from three aspects: alleviating the psychological pressure of the police,implementing the psychological intervention of the police and enhancing the ideological and political effectiveness.It explores the four specific methods of cognition,catharsis,interaction and infiltration.The fourth part analyzes the problems and causes of the psychological defense in the current ideological and political work based on the questionnaire survey of 408 policemen from different regions.The current police do not pay enough attention to the psychological counseling,and the public security workers are lack of motivation in the construction.The above are the main problems in the application of psychological counseling.The fifth part is about the implementation and specific path of psychological guidance.The author puts forward that the psychological counseling should follow scientific,respectful,difference and precautionary principle in combination with field research and typical excellent cases,strengthen the scientific awareness of the police,improve the carrier,and build the multi-dimensional model of policemen,family and society.Psychological counseling is a constructive project.This paper explores the elements of psychological counseling,expands the contents and innovates the methods and means of the ideological and political work of public security,meanwhile provides not only countermeasures but also theoretical basis for the study of the mental health work system The aim of the study is to stimulate people’s attention and active participation in the work of public security mental health,and to promote the continuous innovation and development of psychological guidance mode under the framework of ideological and political work.
