As the report of the nineteenth National Congress of CPC points out that culture is the soul of a country and a nation.In the world of different cultures,races and social systems,mutual understanding,so communication and dialogue become the norm.In the face of the cultural background and cultural phenomenon of different countries and societies,the comparative ideological and political education research should adhere to the Chinese characteristics and international comparison,and further help build the ideological and political education of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,which should be the research mission.On the one hand,the cross-cultural research of Ideological and political education is an analysis of the cultural background of the phenomena of Ideological and political education in various countries.It is similar to the factor analysis method of comparative education research,that is,the research direction of a kind of understanding.On the other hand,the cross-culture research also has an empirical research orientation that pays attention to empirical sampling and field survey analysis.It analyzes the concrete patterns of Ideological and political education development under the specific period of ideology and culture in different countries,and then compares and dialogues between Ideological and Political Education under different foreign cultural systems.Based on the application of cross-cultural research into the field of comparative ideological and political education,the paper attempts to explore the theory and practice of comparative ideological and political education in cross-cultural studies.The body writing is divided into three chapters.The first chapter attempts to define the theoretical connotation of cross-cultural research on Ideological and political education,that is,"what is it".In the comparison of the connotation of intercultural research in Ideological and political education,the object limitation of the comparative ideological and political education is discussed,that is,the ideological and political education of all countries under different cultural systems.The cross-cultural research of comparative Ideological and political education involves the comparison between China and foreign country,which relates to the political and cultural field and develops a theme analysis form combining explicit and implicit.At the same time,the necessity and significance of the cross-cultural research on comparative ideological and political education are analyzed,that is,"why is it".On the practical level,the cultural analysis of Ideological and political education in various countries and the academic practice of the subject of Ideological and political education,which embodies the objective existence of cross-culture;on the theoretical level,the necessity of intercultural research is further pointed out from the trend of the international development of comparative ideological and political education.In comparison with the cross-cultural research of Ideological and political education,this paper discusses the purpose of comparing the study of Ideological and political education,the innovation of the research methods of Ideological and political education and the international influence.The second chapter mainly expounds the ideological principles of cross-cultural research on Ideological and political education.Based on the subject of comparative ideological and political education,the standpoint,view and method of adhering to the guidance of Marx doctrine are inherent requirements.In the context of the present times,adhering to the Chinese standpoint,insisting on the similarities and differences and seeking differences in the same way in the comparison,we can make the best of the Chinese excellent traditional culture and the self-confidence of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.The third chapter further compares the specific methods of cross-cultural research of Ideological and political education,that is,"how to do".By comparing the basic object analysis of the intercultural study of Ideological and political education,the cross validation of emic approach and etic approach is used to further develop the specific implementation methods.In the conclusion part,the advantages and limitations of cross-cultural research on comparative Ideological and political education are briefly discussed.
