Intergovernmental Coordination Research

The coordination between government departments runs through the entire administrative process.Administrative organizations want to operate efficiently,and perfect inter-department coordination and cooperation mechanisms have an indispensable effect.Over the years,the development of administrative coordination has been lagging behind.All walks of life and self-respect have caused all departments to control their own interests and cannot coordinate development.The formulation and development of inter-departmental coordination mechanisms and the deepening of the reform of the administrative system can be said to be basic prerequisites for the construction of a modern administrative management system.It can rationalize duties and optimize organizational structure.It is an objective requirement for building a service-oriented government.Reforming the administrative system to adapt to economic and social development,strengthen the coordination of administrative resources among administrative organizations,establish the overall joint force of administration according to law,avoid unnecessary administrative costs,and further improve the administrative capacity and administrative quality of administrative agencies.Serve the people,improve the confidence and level of governance for the people.The author takes Taixing as an example to summarize the characteristics and lessons learned from the current inter-departmental coordination mechanism of the Taixing City Government,conduct research on coordination and cooperation between various government departments of the government,and thoroughly consider the various institutional adjustments,and the three benchmarks of the United States,Britain,and Japan.The developed countries have done comparative research to further verify the current coordination mechanism among government departments,and on this basis,proposed a countermeasure system that promotes inter-departmental coordination from several levels of organizational networks,division of responsibilities,and innovation measures.
