Research On Traffic Congestion And Countermeasures In Dongguan

With the increasingly busy economictrade and social activities in China,the number of car ownership has grown rapidly.the traditional traffic management model can no longer meet the needs of modern society.At present,traffic congestion in China's cities,especially large cities,is extremely serious.traffic congestion has become a hot topic of urban people's livelihood.Even in second-tier cities,traffic congestion is getting worse.Making an effective work plan to alleviate traffic congestion has become an urgent requirement for the government and the public today.Under this background,this paper takes the Dongguan city traffic congestion as the research object.Through the field investigation,questionnaire survey and relevant statistical data analysis,we obtain the relevant information and useful information about the current traffic situation in Dongguan City.On the basis of reading relevant literature and understanding similar city conditions at home and abroad,we consider and study the problem of traffic congestion in Dongguan,and then put forward countermeasures to improve the problem of traffic congestion in Dongguan city.Firstly,this paper introduces the definition of traffic congestion and discusses the background and significance of the research.Secondly,the experience of urban traffic congestion control at home and abroad is analyzed,and it is a reference for Dongguan traffic congestion management.thirdly,it introduces the general situation of social development and urban planning in Dongguan,and expounds the current traffic situation in Dongguan and the existing problems of traffic management from the aspects of population,motor vehicle roads,etc...Finally,this paper analyzes the causes of traffic congestion in Dongguan,and puts forward some countermeasures for the actual situation of Dongguan's traffic jams.
