The online game has the commodity attribute,which can bring the huge economic benefit to the developer.It also has the cultural attribute,which can carry various cultural contents and ideology.At the same time,it has the media attribute.This kind of attribute makes it be able to spread the culture content and the ideology that carries and exert an influence on the audience.With the theme of peace and development,the national strength competition is no longer based on military strength between the race,"soft power" which is mainly based on cultural force and ideology has become the main way of individual countries to deliver their power to other countries.The continuous popularity of online games makes the content of cultural content carried by them become wider and more influential.Therefore,the supervision of these cultural contents should be paid more attention to preventing the unhealthy culture from threatening our cultural security.The main contents of this paper are as follows:In this paper,the first part expounds the theoretical significance and practical value of selecting the cultural security threat of online games as the research subject of this paper.This research aims to discover and sum up the threat of national cultural security factors in the online games,provide the coping solution,and make some small contribution to solve these problems from two aspects of theory and practice.The multiplayer online tactical games,large role-playing games and online games which rank highest on the list are chosen as the research objects in this paper.The strong cultural bearing capacity of large role-playing games,the great influence of popular online games on cultural communication,the relatively higher popularity of multiplayer online tactical competitive games and the increasing derivative culture products around are the reasons for this selection.These samples were studied through literature research and case analysis.As the theory basis of this paper,the second part first analyzes the presentation form of the culture of online games and finds that online games use the background images,plot designs,characters,clothes,music and so on to present the culture behind.As a theoretical framework of national cultural security theory,the subdivision provides theoretical preparation for the future research.This paper is to search the possibility of national cultural security threat and expound the necessity of using the national cultural security theory as atheoretical perspective to study online games.The third part of this paper combines the theoretical basis of the previous part to study the game samples that meet the requirements of the research and explore the hidden national cultural security threats in online games.The study found that in the political category,there exists the cultural threat which has deliberately defaced the national image.In the category of values,there is the cultural threat of invasion of western values.In the historical category,there is a distorted cultural threat to historical facts.In the category of physical and mental health,there is cultural threat of demonstration of bad behavior.In the category of consumption concept,there exists cultural threat which may lead to unhealthy consumption concept.These bad cultures will unconsciously influence the value cognition,thinking judgment and behavior pattern of the game players,and then further affect the players' outlook on life and world view.These cultural security threats would cause the mistakes of the players' cultural judgment,the deviation of social cultural identity and the impact on national culture security if there is no limitation on these threats.In the last part of this paper,the author puts forward the corresponding solutions to the cultural security threats.On the policy level,the state provides policy support to online games strengthens the regulation of game culture security policy and standardizes the unhealthy atmosphere of the game market.On the legal level,the authority strengthens the legal regulation of online games,and enacts laws and regulations to support the operation of China's game industry.On industry self-discipline level,the organization encourages game companies to develop online games actively with Chinese cultural values,enhance the level of online game industry autonomy and consciously resist the bad cultural threat to enter the Chinese market.
