The Influence Of Political Changes In Burma On Sino-Burmese Relation And China’s Strategy On Myanmar

A new government was created in 2010 by means of a popular election in Burma.Since the beginning of the administration,the Government has promulgated and implemented a series of policies which are different from those of the previous government.Those new policy has brought about remarkable changes in Burma’ s political situation.As an important neighbour of southwest China,the political change in Burma situation will inevitably have an impact on Chinese national interests.At the same time,after 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,our country enters the new period of comprehensively constructing the socialist modernized country,the influence that the political situation of Burma brings to China is bcoond to have a great influen.ce on the construction undertaking in China,and through systematic analysis,it can better safeguard China’s national interests,To promote China-Burma relations towards a healthy direction.The main object of this article is the Sino-Burmese relationship in the new period,and the article tries to discuss it through four chapters.The first chapter shows the new characteristics of the Burmese government through a series of new policies brought about by the new government of Burma since its administration.The second chapter mainly analyzes the new changes of Burma*s political situation,and its new government pursues a new policy which has brought about positive and negative effects on China.The third chapter analyzes the influence of the "pragmatic diplomacy" of the United States,"wooing diplomatie" India and "special diplomacy" Japan on Sino-Burmese relationship.The fourth chapter looks forward to the future of Sino-Burmese relations,and even though the new government of Burma has not been as intimate as ever,the"Chipo" friendship between Burma and China has not changed.China should respect Burma’ s multinational balance diplomacy in accordance with its national interests.At the same time,China should actively help Myanmar to develop its economy,and take the opportunity of assisting Myanimar to develop its economy,by proactively improving the the Burmese people’s inherent understanding of China and deepening the contacts between the two countries,and laying a solid foundation of public opinion for the "Chipo" situation of the two countries.
