On The Protection Of The Privacy Of Involuntary Public Figures

The privacy of public figures often conflicts with other people's freedom of speech and freedom of the press.However,generally speaking,public figures are mostly willing to engage in the public sphere or participate in public affairs in order to gain influence on the general public,and they know that their behavior and demeanor are bound to attract special attention from the public.Therefore,when the above conflicts occur,the privacy of public figures are often the ones who are asked to abdicate.However,with the development of the times and the progress of science and technology,the boundary between the so-called public figures and the general public has become increasingly blurred.The ordinary people may become household names by chance at any time.It is also the involuntary public figure to be studied in this paper.Although all will have a profound impact on society,but the reasons used to demand the privacy of public figures to retreat in the past,involuntary public figures are not necessarily all have.Therefore,in order to avoid excessive infringement of their privacy,it is necessary to establish the scope of protection of the privacy rights of involuntary public figures,and they should enjoy more privacy protection than voluntary public figures.This is the purpose of this paper,the full text is divided into four parts,the content is described as follows:The first part mainly elaborates the related concepts of public figures and involuntary public figures,and defines the privacy rights of involuntary public figures at the same time;The second part focuses on the main manifestations of the current violation of the privacy of involuntary public figures from the traditional media and network media;the third part analyzes the existing problems in the protection of the privacy of involuntary public figures.including four aspects of value rank,legal system,industry mechanism and consciousness of rights,the author argues that there is a certain necessity to protect the privacy of involuntary public figures.The fourth part summarizes the problems according to the third part.Taking the basic principles as the starting point,this paper discusses the establishment of the relevant system for the protection of the privacy of involuntary public figures.The third part and fourth part are the focus of this paper.
