Research On Legal Protection Of Financial Consumers’ Information Security Right

With the wave of globalization of information and with the development of the financial industry and the Internet,financial consumers,who are the cornerstone of the financial market,are enjoying convenience,but also suffer from frequent financial information security disputes and information security for financial consumers.It is important part of the financial consumer rights protection system that we should protect the rights of financial consumer’s information security rights.Research on the status quo and legal issues of China’s financial consumer information security protection will contribute to the stable and orderly development of China’s financial market and improve China’s financial industry’s international competitiveness on the background of economic globalization.This article mainly uses the text analysis,case analysis and other research methods to analyze the legal problems in the protection of the information security of China’s financial consumer.At present,the protection of China’s financial consumer information security rights mainly involves a series of problems such as inadequate laws,inadequate supervision of financial institutions,and a single solution to financial consumer information security disputes.Therefore,relevant laws on the protection of information security rights of financial consumers should be improved,the level of regulatory documents should be improved,and the protection rules should be refined;the supervision of financial consumers’information security rights should be strengthened;and government supervision agencies,industry associations,industry self-regulation organizations should be established,etc.Multiple regulatory agencies coordinate regulatory systems;constructs a diversified dispute resolution mechanism for financial consumers’ information security rights,establishes a compulsory mediation system,plays an important role in financial arbitration,and sets up a financial tribunal to resolve disputes so as to promote a comprehensive protection of financial consumers’information security.
