Research On The Image Creation Of Local Government Officials By Impressive Scenery Of Shanxi-under The Background Of Backstage Front-end Theory

With Chinese growing international influence,the government has increasingly focused on creating and promoting Chinese national image through the media.In various provinces and cities,the issue of shaping the image of local government officials has also received increasing attention.The distance between local government officials and the people is relatively recent.Their good image is of great significance to the government’s work,credibility,and support of the people.With the rapid development of mobile media,government officials have become more diverse in their methods of image-shaping.The Shanxi government,in conjunction with Shanxi Satellite TV,has launched the program Impressive scenery of Shanxi.It is the first official TV reality show.All of the municipal party committee secretary,the mayor,and the deputy mayor competed on the same stage to show the appearance of a new generation of political leaders in Shanxi.The study of this paper is divided into three parts.In the first part,the author took a sample of the contestants in the program Impressive scenery of Shanxi,using the front/backstage theory as the main theoretical support,and analyzed real people from the aspects of program design,official language,behavior of officials,and so on.In the second part,the author collected the perceptions of different groups on the image of local government officials and the evaluation of the program Impressive scenery of Shanxi to analyze the effect of the dissemination of programs.In the third part,based on program analysis and audience feedback,the author summarizes the characteristics and deficiencies of Impressive scenery of Shanxi in shaping the images of local government officials,and gives a specific image-building strategy to make this study more practical.In short,Impressive scenery of Shanxi has played a good exemplary role in shaping the image of local government officials.Its existence shows that under the current national conditions in China,the government can use TV reality shows to put politics and entertainment together.It opens up new roads for shaping the image of local governmentofficials.
