With the improvement of global economic and social development, the citizens’ voice of seeking autonomy is becoming higher and higher in the world.During the period of rapid development of market economy and Reform and Opening-up,the urbanization process of China is currently accelerating and the urban land is becoming increasingly tense. To alleviate this pressure, urban construction has also began to attach more importance to the skyscrapers-building,which ultimately makes the residential area to become the major real estate projects in most of mega-cities in China and a large number of residential areas thus emerge in the form of high-rise buildings and multistory buildings. Then, the most majority of the owners become the city’s new governance class,so they put community governance on the agenda. With the improvement of material living standards and spiritual civilization,as basic atoms of urban grassroots-governance,the owners’ demands and aspiration of autonomy is become increasingly intense. In order to exercise their autonomy power better and coordinate their interests and frictions in the process of exercising their’ rights, they introduced and developed the owners’ autonomy mechanism.Since then, the owners’autonomy began to flourish as a new starting point for urban grassroots democracy in China’s urban residential area. However,we should also see that the new type of owners’ autonomy in our country is still in the initial stage of exploration, although the theoretical and practical circles have made a positive and useful research and exploration, but there are still many problems need to further study and solve.I believe that the motive power of autonomy lies in the the owners’ voluntary and active participation which also to a large extent depends on whether their participation willingness is strong or not. Therefore,it can be said that the participation willingness is crucial to the benign development of owners’ autonomy. While, from the existing research results,in the field of China’s current residential area owners’autonomy, the lack of effective participation caused by insufficient participation willingness is prevalent, which undoubtedly seriously hindered the healthy development of owners’autonomy.Based on this,on the basis of reviewing the existing research results,I discuss the factors systematically which affect the owners’ willingness to participate from the aspects of individual characteristics, interest relevance, identity,a sense of belonging, and participation channels. Then this research selected the Q Community in Wuhan City as a sample, used the method of case study, trying to present the impact of various factors on the owners’participation willingness in the current urban residential community autonomy.Combined with the status of this community,we investigate and analyze the unfavorable factors which affect the owners’ willingness to participate in the limited area and discuss the path to improve the owners’ willingness to participate. |
