The case of Peter Liang occurred in November 2014,a year later,on February 11,2016,the Brooklyn court in New York determined that the manslaughter of Liang Peter was established,and he will face up to 15 years imprisonment.The verdict caused the strong dissatisfaction of the Chinese,Then it was launched a massive movement of suport Peter Liang in the Chinese community,has aroused widespread concern in society.Based on the conclusions of previous studies,this paper starts from the five aspects of sports participation,organizational resources,interpersonal network,political opportunity and successful mobilization,and tries to analyze how the Chinese are widely mobilized and succeeded.In this paper,Baidu news reports during the case of "Peter Liang" were used as the analysis text.The literature analysis method,the case study method and the content analysis method were used to analyze the whole mobilization process and the mobilization mechanism of the movement.In the process of analysis,it is found that the political opportunity structure provides a reasonable social background for the movement.The interest is the main factor of the mobilization object.The organization and the interpersonal network are the important resources in the process of mobilization.The WeChat,the framework of the Chinese organization Construction and media coverage are important ways of mobilizing throughout the social movement.The movement of support Peter Liang is not just for Liang Peter to get a fair judgment,the greater significance is that it is an important performance on the way of Chinese political consciousness to awaken,help to promote the improvement of Chinese social status in the future,and these need Chinese organizations help and support.Chinese organizations are still the mainstay of overseas Chinese social movements.
