Preview is an effective way to stimulate students’ learning interest,cultivate their learning habits,and improve their independent learning ability.It is also an important link that affects the overall learning effect of students.Students can effectively improve the classroom efficiency and learning effect by preview(exploring new knowledge independently and entering the class with questions).However,preview is usually ignored by teachers and students in traditional teaching activities.The new curriculum standard also puts forward the requirement that the junior middle school students need to preview before class.However,there are still many problems in the traditional preview process.At present,mobile learning mode breaks the limitation of English learning in time and space,it enriches the resources of English learning and provides opportunities for cooperative learning.Under such conditions,English preview is placed in a mobile learning environment,so as to stimulate students’ interest in preview,develop good habits of preview,and ultimately improve students’ overall English learning attitude and academic performance.This research explores the influence of junior high school English preview on students’ learning attitude and academic achievement in mobile learning environment.This paper summarizes the research status of mobile learning environment,English preview and learning attitude.The theoretical basis of English preview in mobile learning environment is also discussed.Based on the results of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the traditional preview.On the basis of the existing problems,it designs and selects the mode of English preview under the application of mobile learning environment,including environment,process and content of preview.Taking students from four classes of grade 7 in a middle school as experimental subjects,and two of them were selected as experimental classes.The experiment was carried out for three months by implementing the preview in the mobile learning environment.Using quasi-experimental research,the paper analysis the preview mode of mobile learning environment for students’ English learning attitude(including the willingness to learn,learning habits and culture,teaching evaluation,esteemed for courses,teacher’s evaluation,the study purpose,the degree of anxiety,parents attitude to students learning English),as well as the influence on students’ academic achievement.The experimental results show that students’ overall learning attitude and academicachievement are significantly improved by preview in mobile learning environment.Students’ attitude towards English learning has been significantly improved in terms of study intention,study habit and study purpose while the level of learning anxiety reduced.The result shows that preview activities in mobile learning environment can effectively improve students’ English learning attitude and academic achievement.
