The Search For Self-worth : A Psychobiographical Study Of Shi Tiesheng

Shi Tiesheng,a famous contemporary writer,lived a hard life.In his short life,he completed a large number of literary works,but what makes readers stop more than literary works is his magnificent life experience and his thankful heart in the face of many difficulties.Based on numerous detailed data,this paper focuses on two major suspense questions:(1)what made him want to die but not die?(2)why do they have higher spiritual needs when their basic needs are difficult to meet?This study adopts the research method of psychobiography,taking Shi Tiesheng as the research object,and conducts research and analysis on the author through the methods of data collection,theoretical screening and scientific argumentation.The results show that:(1)on the question of suicide,the lack of adolescent self-identity of shi blocking effects of the formation of self-worth,so when it confronted with major life events will be suicidal behavior,and personality,the way to solve the problem of its own impulse,inferiority complex on suicide behavior played a role in promoting.(2)on the issue of giving up suicidal thoughts,factors such as satisfaction of childhood security,unconditional support from mother and good peer relationship play a positive role;At the same time,with the continuous development of Shi Tiesheng's self-cognition,he realized the reconciliation between himself and realized the unification between himself through his work and career.(3)in the pursuit of spiritual needs,the strength of their self-instinct,the establishment of new family intimate relations,the personality traits of themselves and other factors are important reasons for their continuous pursuit of spiritual needs.Through the exploration of Shi Tiesheng's two major suspense problems,it is not difficult to see that Shi Tiesheng's life is a history of struggle against fate at different stages,but also a history of struggle.This also gives us great enlightenment in reality: in the context of the modern and contemporary increasing suicide rate year by year,depression has become the second largest disease in the world,the establishment of peer relationship,the cultivation of career and interest,the establishment of intimate relationship,the unconditional support of family and other factors have external promoting effects on individual growth and development;Factors such as the establish-ment of self-identity,the improvement of problem solving ability and the development of self-cognition have positive internal effects on people with suicidal tendency and low sense of self-worth.
