In this paper,through the analysis of the double piano version of Ding Shande’s Piano Concerto in B flat major the first movement’s music creation style and performance techniques,we will deeply study the national characteristics embodied in this work.Ding Shande is a very influential and representative pianist,composer and educator in the field of Chinese piano music creation in the20 th century.He actively promoted the development of Chinese modern piano music.In the creation of piano music,he absorbed western advanced composing techniques to combine Chinese traditional music with it,and created many excellent piano works,which added rich knowledge reserve to the field of Chinese piano music works,and also had a positive and far-reaching impact on people engaged in piano music work.Piano Concerto in B flat major is the only piano concerto composed by Ding Shande.This paper first introduces the background of Chinese piano music era in the 20 th century,and expounds the composer’s life and the creation background of the work.Secondly,it makes a detailed analysis of the music style and performance techniques in the first movement of Piano Concerto in B flat major.I hope that through the above research,I can have more understanding of the embodiment of national characteristics in Ding Shande’s creation,and have a more accurate grasp of the musical characteristics and performance skills of Ding Shande’s Piano Concerto in B flat major,so as to better understand and perform the work,and also hope to help other learners.
