Research On The Practical Of The Mixed Chorus Composition Tian An Men-Square Of The Sun

The domestic art of chorus has currently stepped into a new phase of development.It has entered the developmental path of professionalism and artistry.Tian An Men – Square of Sun,created by Wen Zhanli in 2008,is an outstanding work of chorus composition in recent years.It can also be regarded as one of the representatives of the Chinese contemporary chorus composition in terms of its prevalence and performance rate.Wen Zhanli,the well-known Chinese contemporary composer of multiple genres,is the first PhD in composition at Chinese Conservatory of Music.His work,Tian An Men – Square of Sun,is the reflection of his composing skills and artistic pursuit with its clever combination of music and lyrics,the ups and downs of verses as well as the magnificent and lyric melodies.This thesis first makes an introduction of the background of Tian An Men – Square of Sun before making an analysis on its composing techniques so sum up the composing skills and arrangement of the composer.Based on the study o f conducting practice,the thesis further discusses the control and detail-processing of the work from the perspective of chorus conducting in macro,meso and micro view.Finally,personal reflections are given concerning the rehearsal of the chorus.It is meant to study the music style features and the processing of conducting to provide objective references for a better understanding and illustration of the work.
