| The main purpose of CMMI model is to help software companies improve software engineering processes and development capability,so as to develop high-quality software within budget on time.In order to further promote its development,Haier Digital Technology（Nanjing）Co.,Ltd.invited JY-Mentor Technology Co.,Ltd.to implement the CMMI Level3 appraisal for its two projects in research and development center.Based on the task entrusted by JY-Mentor Technology Co.,Ltd.,this report describes the consecutive interpreting performed by the interpreter for the lead appraiser and staff of Haier Digital Technology（Nanjing）Co.,Ltd.from July 30thh to August 3rd,2019.With this in view,the report describes and analyzes the interpreting procedure,nature of this task,the problems occurring in interpreting process and interpreting methods adopted by the interpreter during this process under the guidance of the Interpretive Theory.The report consists of five parts.The first part is introduction,which introduces background of this task.The second part is task description,which depicts procedure of this task and requirements of the entrusting party.The third part is interpreting process,which describes the task procedure and quality control conducted by the interpreter as well as interpreting reflection under the guidance of the Interpretive Theory.The fourth part is case analysis,which demonstrates typical cases with the focus on accent,professional terminology and cognitive schema.The fifth part is conclusion,which summarizes the solutions to typical problems in this interpreting process.This report,based on detailed case analysis with the Interpretive Theory,reveals that:1)it is essential to be able to understand different English accents;2)a quick accommodation of professional terminology before activity is necessary;3)necessary restructuring of information is advisable according to the cognitive schema of the listeners. |
