Dyslexia is a special type of learning disorder that affects an individual's ab ility to obtain normal reading and spelling. It mainly refers to those with normal intelligence, educational opportunities, and social environment, without obvious ne urological or organic damage.Individuals who show great difficulties in learning. The interdependence of faces and word processing mechanisms suggests that ther e may be a link between dyslexia and abnormal face recognition. This study uses the self-face recognition paradigm,self-sound recognition par adigm, the Mecker effect paradigm, and the Thatcher effect paradigm to examine the self-identification of children with dyslexia under the conditions of vision,h earing, and sight-hear dual channels.A total of 3 experiments were conducted in this study. From 800 primary school students,34 subjects were divided into the dyslexia group(n = 17)and the age-matched group(n = 17).In experimen t one,a self-face recognition paradigm was used to study the effect of children with dyslexia on self-face recognition under the condition of single-face vision.E xperiment two explores the self-voice recognition of children with Chinese dyslex ia through a single auditory channel.Experiment 3 explores the effects of self-fa ce cutting on the self-speech recognition of children with Chinese dyslexia throu gh the two-channel audio-visual condition. It was found that in experiment one,t he accuracy of recognition of all subjects was higher when their faces were upri ght than when their faces were upside down, and the accuracy of self-face recog nition was higher than that when their faces were in the same orientation when their faces were inverted..In experiment two, children with dyslexia had no dif ference in the recognition accuracy of self-voices compared with children in the age-matched group. In experiment three, children with dyslexia have lower recog nition accuracy of self-voice and others' voices than the age-matched group.Und er the condition that the direction of the face's upright lip is the same, all subje cts have a higher accuracy rate of self-recognition than the condition of the dire ction of the face's upright lip.At the same time, all subjects responded to self-s ound recognition faster under the condition that the face was upright and the lip was faster than the condition that the face was upside down.Experimental results validate the hypothesis of the study. And draw the follo wing conclusions: children with dyslexia can recognize self-face and self-voice,li p orientation affects self-face recognition of children with dyslexia, lip and face orientation under audio-visual integration affects children with dyslexia,self-voice recognition, children 's self-identity Recognition is affected by the Thatcher effect of the self-face.
