Since the 20 th century,the pace of scientific and technological progress and social development,the greater the society entered the era of diversity,the overall sense of unity is dispelled,replaced by social aspects of the " fragmentation" trend is becoming more and more prominent,new things too many things to see,dazzling.People's living conditions,the concept of survival has produced great changes,showing a fragmented,diversified social state.At the same time," fragmentation" of visual design also arises at the historic moment.In this paper,a large number of materials to demonstrate the phenomenon of " fragmentation" visual design in a diversified society,and try to find the cultural and social roots behind this phenomenon.First of all,from the concept and development of fragmentation,analysis of modern visual design " fragmentation" performance.Since the 1950 s,the fragmentation of modern art has gone against the traditional art,showing diversity,diversity,non-centrality and so on.At the same time,fragmentation has become the living condition of modern people.From Picasso to lee,from internationalism to deconstruction,every development is the innovation of the previous school.Secondly,it analyzes and proves the appearance and image characteristics of broken visual design.No matter the design elements of disorder collage,the wide variety of hodgepodge and nothingness of the design content,all show the trend of " fragmentation".Finally,the development trend of visual design and fragmented visual design in the context of modern society is analyzed.It is expected to provide some exploratory thinking and suggestions for the development of design under the trend of social fragmentation.
