A Bing is an outstanding contributor to modern folk music. His music has a high research value in the history of modern Chinese music. The erhu piece " The Spring Mirrored The Moon " composed by him can be said to be the essence of his life.Chu Wanghua is a composer who is a pianist initially. He has composed many Chinese piano works, which has an indelible influence in the history of Chinese piano music.Among them, the piano work " The Spring Mirrored The Moon " adapted by him is an attempt to adapt the erhu piece to a piano piece and re-arrange it.It is hard to rearrange an erhu piece to a piano piece since they belong to different instrument family. The research in this thesis is mainly divided into the following parts: background, polyphony, musical form, and A Bing's original recording. The above content is analyzed, and then the performance analysis is performed so that the player can better understand and interpret the piano adaptation." The Spring Mirrored The Moon ".The polyphonic part of Chu Wanghua is based on the characteristics of piano instruments.During the composing process, many polyphonic techniques were used. The author mainly analyzed the polyphonic techniques, and then analyzed the performance processing of each technique in the performance segment. In previous papers, there are some contradictions in the styles of the piano adaptation of " The Spring Mirrored The Moon ".Combining "Analysis of The Spring Mirrored The Moon " by Li Songshou with "Sentence Patterns,Musical Forms and Modes of The Spring Mirrored The Moon " by Chen Yingshi, the author will analyze the piano adaptation of the piano " The Spring Mirrored The Moon " and draw a conclusion.Because the piano adaptation " The Spring Mirrored The Moon " is an adaptation of the original erhu version, the author believes that it is necessary to research and analyze the original erhu version of the recording to find the similarities and differences,so as to understand Chu Wanghua's thoughts during the adaptation process and his understanding of this piece of music. Finally, the author will combine the above studies and discuss how we can have a better interpretation in piano performance, hence,to give some suggestions to music learners and enthusiasts in order to help them to have a better performance.
