A Study On The Evolution Of Positivecharacters In Chinese Spy Dramas

Since its birth,Chinese spy drama has been active on the TV screen,which is not only loved by the audience,but also attract much attention from scholars in the industry.In particular,the positive characters in the spy drama not only carry the value orientation of mainstream ideology,but also is the object of the audience's aesthetic recognition.Their noble characters bring positive energy to the audience in real life.With the continuous development of the film and television industry,the positive characters in the spy drama show new changes,which contain richer social,cultural and humanistic connotations.In the history of Chinese spy TV series,many positive characters have left a deep impression on the audience,and become the "that one" in the history of Chinese TV series.This paper takes the positive characters in the spy drama series as the main research object.The author tends to use the narratology,film and television aesthetics,television communication and drama theory to discuss the specific spy drama works.First of all,it defines and classifies the positive characters in Chinese spy dramas,which lays a foundation for this thesis.Secondly,based on the factors of political,economic and cultural background,as well as the policy environment,creator's personalized pursuit and audience's aesthetic demand,this thesis will conduct an analysis on the evolution process of positive characters in spy war TV series based on historical development.The main purpose is to clearly show the evolution process and law of positive characters in spy drama.Thirdly,the evolution of positive character image shaping in spy drama will be discussed further,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: the enrichment of character shaping methods,complicating relationships between characters and how to use audio-visual means to shape characters.Based on the above,the analysis of the characteristics of drama and art in the evolution was conducted.Finally,on the basis of the above contents,this thesis discusses the problems existing in the construction of positive character image in the current spy drama,and obtains enlightenment from the evolution,adheres to the value orientation of positive character image,and makes clear the experience worth learning.From the theoretical significance,this thesis can provide reference for the theoretical research of positive character images in Chinese spy dramas in the future.From the practical point of view,it is hoped that it can provide a reference for the creators of spy drama series in the future to create more authentic,reasonable and vivid positive characters,so as to bring more positive realistic significance to contemporary people.
