Based on the analysis of the environmental space of the Majiayao cultural site, this paper analyzes the structure of the residence and the layout and selection of the cemetery. Finally,it discusses the spatial relationship between the dwelling and the tomb, and analyzes the reasons for the formation and change of this relationship. The spatial analysis of the Majiayao cultural site shows that the cultural site is mainly distributed in the eastern and northern parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Longzhong Loess Plateau, and the stacked plain area of the Hexi Corridor between1500-2500 meters above sea level.0-16 °,the slope direction is mainly north, south and east, mainly located within 10,000 meters from the river. In the structure of the residence and the layout of the cemetery, from the Shilingxia type to the Machang type, the functional areas inside the Majiayao cultural dwellings have not yet differentiated and preliminary differentiation. The layout of the Majiayao cultural cemetery is generally divided into zones. The phenomenon. The site of the cemetery has the general characteristics of backing mountains and water.Compared with the site of the cemetery, the tombs are mostly distributed in the front of the platform near the river. The analysis of some Majiayao cultural burial coexistence sites shows that the spatial relationship between dwellings and tombs can be summarized into three modes:dwellings, mixed burials and separation of burials. In general, they have gone from mixed to semi-mixed and divided From the three development stages of separation from natural terrain to complete separation.Clues to the distribution of residences in some public cemeteries also show that the more the Majiayao culture developed later, the more completely the residences were separated from the cemetery.Judging from the different forms of settlements, the relationship between burial spaces shows that scattered settlements and side-by-side settlements, which represent different stages of settlement development, are manifested as two types of burial space relationships, including mixed burials and separated burials. Finally, this article considers that the relationship between the burial space andthe separation of Majiayao culture is an inevitable result of the differentiation of the settlement function, and it is also affected by the original funeral concepts of location avoidance and good luck.
