In the literary creation, many descriptions of female images and endings are romantic and tragic, such as Leo Tolstoy 's Anna Karenina and Victor Hugo 's "Notre Dame de Paris",Alexander Lavender's "The Camellia Girl",Lu Xun's "Sad Death",Thomas Hardy's "Tess of the Durber",Emily Brandt's "Whistling Mountain Villa" and so on.The description of these tragic characters not only requires the writing technique and artistic expression, but also the projection of the psychological and social systems of the characters in that era.The two novels "Mrs.Baufari" and "Salambo" by French criticism realist Gustaf Flaubert are also representative works of the above styles. In these two works,Flaubert not only depicts the heroine's beauty, sensibility, and relentless pursuit of inner desires, but also depicts the tragic ending of their desire, inner suffering, and ultimately destruction.Behind the distinctive characters created by these two works, there is always an invisible but powerful force that keeps them in check all the time, that is,the patriarchal consciousness and social system that have been formed and consolidated in class society for a long time.-patriarchy.Under the patriarchy at that time, women 's learning and growth, feelings and behaviors, marriage and personal desires were all greatly restricted and oppressed, which ultimately led to their tragic ending. This article mainly discusses female desires and disillusionment under patriarchy from five parts:The first part is an introduction, which mainly analyzes the background of patriarchy in the two representative works of Flaubert, explains the context of the desire of the characters and the cultural causes of the disillusionment, and explains the reasons for selecting the characters in these two works for analysis At the same time,it summarizes the research status, academic history and research ideas of this subject. The second part is the second chapter. From the perspective of Flaubert and Flaubert novels,it discusses the patriarchy under Flaubert 's small talk, including patriarchy and Flaubert, the patriarchy in Flaubert 's novels, and the Worship the meaning of novel creation and so on.The third part is the third chapter, which mainly analyzes Emma and Salambo under the patriarchy, and further analyzes the desires of Emma and Salampo under the patriarchy, and explains their desires and desires. The different journeys and the ending of the final destruction. The fourth part is the fourth chapter, which mainly summarizes the fantasy, contradiction and tragic characteristics of female desire in Flaubert's pen under the social situation at that time, and further reveals the root of the disillusionment of female desire under the patriarchy. The fifth part is the conclusion, combing the full text, and summing up the topic again: under the patriarchy, any kind of chase and exploration of women's desire or self-worth,the results are tragic. At the same time,as a "aphasia" in the patriarchal society, women want to become a "person" in a complete sense, only to break the barriers and constraints of the patriarchal society and realize women's self-independence and autonomy.Even in the current society, this road still has a long way to go.
