Multimodal Discourse Analysis Of The Promotional Film "China Enters A New Era"

The national image propaganda film is an important way to construct a national image,and it is also the key object of the current multimodal discourse analysis research.Therefore,this article takes "China Enters a New Era" as the research object,uses the relevant theories of multimodal discourse analysis to analyze the organization and interaction between the modalities in the national image propaganda film,and on this basis,discusses multimodal discourse analysis Combined with evaluation theory,the modal interweaving and consciousness deconstruction of dynamic propaganda texts.This article takes systematic functional linguistics as the basic theoretical framework,combines the relevant interpretations of cognitive linguistics and the characteristics of dynamic multimodal texts,and uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to integrate Starting with the analysis of modal metaphors,it comprehensively explores its multimodal metaphorical phenomena and the representation of multimodal metaphor forms,and innovatively summarizes the five main modal calling forms.Based on the related semiotic theory,the multi-modal metonymy of the multi-promotional film "China Enters a New Era" is analyzed,and the analysis model of its multi-modal metonymy is summarized as referring to metonymy,symbolic metonymy and meaning Metonymy,carry out in-depth research on various types of metonymy process,and then use evaluation analysis theory,focusing on vocabulary analysis,from three dimensions of attitude system,intervention system and grade system to analyze the text mode of "China Enters a New Era" Mode,and supplement the explanation of the interaction of each mode,making the modal analysis of the entire promotional film more clear.The continuous development of multimodal discourse analysis and dynamic discourse provides new ideas for discourse research,but compared with multimodal metaphor analysis,multimodal metonymy is still insufficient from the theoretical system construction to the analysis and application.In addition,there is still a lot of research space for combining multimodal discourse analysis and evaluation theory to analyze dynamic propaganda texts.Inthis regard,this article selects the active discourse text "China Enters a New Era" as the analysis blueprint,in order to use multimodal discourse analysis related theories to expand the analysis scope of the propaganda film,and provide a certain reference for the expansion of the research ideas of dynamic propaganda text.
