A Comparative Study On The English Translation Of Mao Zedong's Poetry From The Perspective Of The Artistic Conception

Mao Zedong is regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of the modern world.He is a great Marxist and the main founder and leader of the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China.In the current context of the cultural self-confidence as well as the further development of our Chinese culture into the world,to understand more about contemporary China,we must understand Mao Zedong,and the rich aesthetic connotation in Mao Zedong's poetry embodies Mao Zedong's aesthetic thoughts and personalities.He is good at using the art form of our Chinese classical poetry to reflect Chinese revolution as well as the construction practice.His poetry has the unique style and aesthetic characteristics.As an important carrier to understand the history of Chinese revolution and the spread of Chinese poetry culture,it is particularly important to reappear the artistic conception and rich connotation of his poetry in translation.Through the investigation,it is found that most of the foreign translation studies of Mao Zedong's poetry are based on a specific western translation theory,and few studies are conducted from the perspective of the artistic conception.The artistic conception is the most common and favorite used expression for the concept of the Chinese aesthetic spirits,and it can represent the national aesthetic spirit and aesthetic pursuit.From the perspective of the artistic conception,this thesis analyzes Mao Zedong's poetry from three aspects: imagery,rhyme and rhetoric,uses case analysis to specifically explain the artistic conception of his poetry,and comparatively analyzes the translation and reappearance of the artistic conception in three typical English translations with a view to helping the study of English translating of Mao Zedong's poetry from the perspective of artistic conception.
