Thangka is a genre of Tibetan painting art,and its origin is inseparable from the unique living environment of the snowy plateau.The cultural connotation and performance content of Thangka art is consistent with the spiritual beliefs and pursuits of the Tibetan people.Over the past 1400 years,with the development of society and history,Thangka has presented a variety of artistic features,and gradually formed a number of colorful styles.Its unique artistic expression and outstanding skills are Stand out in China and the world of art forests.Compared with the Qiangtang School,the Qinzhao School and the Regong Art,the School of Painting has a unique historical and cultural background,a system of growth and inheritance,and in the long-term historical development,the formation of craftsmanship and traditional customs are The integrated folk art has formed a close development relationship with Tibetan traditional culture.The paper is based on the Karma School of Painting,one of the three largest Thangka painting schools in Tibet,as the focus of traditional Thangka art.Using field research,literature research,inductive summarization,work analysis and field interview research methods,analyze the traditional skills and artistic characteristics of Thangka art,and believe that the development of Tibetan national culture affects the development of Thangka,the development of Mongolian culture and the development of Thangka Complement each other.From the perspective of cultural heritage,it puts forward the viewpoint of Thangka’s technical protection,establishes the meaning and necessity of protection,organically combines traditional skills with national culture,and protects the whole and original ecology,so as to make the protection of traditional Thangka skills more realistic.Sex,the protection of Tibetan traditional art is more vital.In the social environment of cultural globalization,the protection of cultural heritage has been widely recognized by all walks of life,and the Thangka skills have the necessity of inheritance.It strives to help Tibetan cultural heritage protection and research through the study of Thangka traditional crafts and its aesthetic connotation.
