Research On "Group Tribes" In Northeast China From The Perspective Of Settlement (1932-1945)

The "group tribe" is a special product of Japan’s colonial rule in the Tohoku region during the Manchukuo period,and is a historical testimony of the Japanese puppet regime’s colonial rule over the Northeast people.From the perspective of the settlement,the "group tribe" is an artificially designed rural settlement form.The Japanese and puppet rulers used the term "group tribe" to name the rural settlement established in the northeast region at that time,with certain "discrimination","Oppression" and "compulsory" means.Judging from the construction status of the "group tribe" in the Northeast region during the period of the Manchukuo,the formation trajectory of the "group tribe" is very different from the formation trajectory of the modern northeastern rural settlements before the September 18 th Incident.The shape and scale design of the "group tribe" were also completely considered by the Japanese and Japanese puppets for the benefit of their defense and ease of management.Compared with the farmers in the northeastern rural settlement before the September 18 th Incident,agricultural production was carried out.The establishment of the "puppet tribe" of the Japanese puppets prevented villagers from carrying out normal agricultural production.A large number of farmland was barren,crops were cut,labor resources were sharply reduced,and labor data was destroyed.Compared with the residents in the northeastern rural settlements who were able to maintain adequate food and clothing before the September 18 th Incident,the residents of the "group tribe" during the Manchukuo period were unable to maintain their basic needs for clothing,food,and shelter,and their livelihood problems were very worrying.In addition,the actions,words,and deeds of the residents of the "group tribe" are subject to surveillance and restrictions by the Japanese and Puppet authorities,and there is no freedom of speech and behavior.In short,the Japanese puppet "group tribe" changed the evolution of the traditional rural settlements in the Northeast and destroyed the production functions and living functions of the rural settlements in the Northeast.Since the "group tribe" does not conform to the normal evolution of the rural settlements in Northeast China,it is absolutely impossible for the Japanese puppets to establish the "group tribe" as a village with a high degree of "self-government" and "orderly" collective life.The settlement and the eventual disappearance of the "group tribe" is an inevitable result of historical development.
