Since China put forward the "going out" strategy,Chinese enterprises have stepped out of the country and foreign investment has continued to grow.In particular,in 2013,the Chinese government proposed a great initiative to build the “New Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”,which was widely supported and actively participated by countries along the route,and brought new benefits to China and countries along the route.Development opportunities.Foreign direct investment is an important part of the implementation of the “Belt and Road Initiative”.With the continuous promotion of the “One Belt,One Road” initiative,direct investment by Chinese companies in countries along the route will also face a new stage of historical development.In the process of Chinese companies' past investment,there are also many problems,especially the contradictions caused by cultural differences between China and the host country,causing frequent losses of Chinese enterprises in foreign investment.Therefore,from the perspective of cultural distance,this paper explores the influence of cultural distance on the direct investment of Chinese enterprises in the “Belt and Road” countries,and combines the existing location advantages and investment needs of the countries along the route to provide advice for Chinese enterprises to directly invest in countries along the route.From the perspective of enterprises,this paper summarizes the regional advantages and industrial needs of the countries along the “Belt and Road” according to the direct investment motives of enterprises,and explores the different influences of cultural distance on the countries along the direct investment of Chinese enterprises under different motives.Finally,based on the empirical analysis results.On this basis,it puts forward proposals for direct investment by Chinese enterprises along the “Belt and Road” countries.
