A Study On The Skills And Styles Of Lidi's Flower And Bird Painting In Southern Song Dynasty

Li Di is a famous painter in the Southern Song Dynasty.He is good at fine brushwork and flowers and birds.He has a great reputation in the painting history of the Southern Song Dynasty.His painting techniques,colors,composition,connotation and artistic conception all represent the main style of fine brushwork of flowers and birds in the Southern Song Dynasty.Based on the previous studies on the techniques and styles of Li Di's flower and bird paintings,this paper explores the evolution and motivation of the Royal flower and bird paintings in the Southern Song Dynasty.It also analyses Li Di's creative characteristics and artistic ideas in the context of today's pluralistic era.Finally,it finds out the inspiration of Li Di's flower-and-bird painting to his self-creation by combining his self-creation practice.
