Investigation On The Usage Of Words In Luoyang Dialect

With the development of the society and the promotion of Mandarin,the usage of the words in Luoyang dialect has changed greatly,one of the manifestations of which is the shrinking usage of a large number of dialect words.From the perspective of sociolinguistics,based on fieldwork,combined with data analysis,the paper describes the current usage and characteristics of the words in Luoyang dialect,and analyzes the social factors behind them.The article is divided into three parts: the current description of the usage of words in Luoyang dialect,the correlation between various social factors and the usage of words in Luoyang dialect,and the prediction of the development trend of the usage of words in Luoyang dialect.The first part,on the basis of collecting and collating the data,takes the age as the variable,and presents the change of the usage of 162 Luoyang dialect words in different age groups by 15 sense categories,and summarizes the retention and characteristics of the words in Luoyang dialect at present.The second part,with SPSS22.0 on the gender,education level,occupation,region,language attitude and other social factors and the current usage of Luoyang dialect words correlation analysis,the results show that the education level,occupation,age,language attitude and environment and the current usage of Luoyang dialect words are significantly correlated,gender and the relationship is not significant.The third part is based on the data,combined with language policy and language planning to predict the development trend of the usage of words in Luoyang dialect,that the usage of Luoyang dialect words will be further shrinking.
